Use a clue, then rearrange shuffled letters to build the Romanian word.
How to play the Romanian word scramble
Each step is one stage of a single A1 round, from the empty answer row to the answer pâine (bread).
- Read the clue and work out the Romanian word. The bank holds one tile for each letter of that word. The tiles carry plain letters, so A stands for the â in pâine.
- Click a tile, or type its letter, to fill the next empty slot. Shuffle reorders the tiles you have not used.
- Fill every slot, then press Check. When the order is wrong, Check keeps every letter in the row. You can then move one letter and check again.
- Click a letter in your answer to send it back to the bank. The letters after it close the gap. Sending E back turns P A I E N into P A I N.
- Type the last letter to fill the empty slot, then press Check. Reveal puts every letter in order and ends the round the same way. Choose New round to start the next word at the same level.
