Privacy notice
Romanalia does not require an account. This notice explains the limited information used to operate and improve the site.
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Who is responsible
Romanalia is an independent educational project edited by Kirill Svavolia. Questions and data requests can be sent through the contact page.
Progress stored on your device
Lesson and guide progress is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember what you completed. Romanalia does not receive this progress. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Analytics and cookies
Romanalia uses Google Analytics in production to understand aggregate traffic and improve the library. The standard implementation can collect page and session activity, approximate location, browser and device information, referrer information, and a client identifier stored in the first-party _ga cookie. Google processes this information under its own privacy terms.
Google Analytics data-collection information · Google privacy policy
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Google also provides a browser add-on that disables Google Analytics measurement.
Hosting and local fonts
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which necessarily processes connection information such as IP address, request details, and security events to serve and protect the site. Romanalia serves its typography from its own site, so loading the fonts does not create a separate connection to a font provider.
Messages you send
If you email Romanalia, the message, your email address, and any information you include are used to review and answer the request. They are kept only as long as reasonably needed for that purpose, record-keeping, or legal obligations.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal data. Contact Romanalia to make a request. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
Changes to this notice
This page will be updated when Romanalia changes the services it uses or the way it handles information. The date above identifies the current version.
